Directed all marketing and communications for a historically significant public institution on the Boston Freedom Trail, serving as the organization’s sole communications function across brand, digital, print, and multimedia.

  • Led a full institutional brand refresh—logo, color palette, typography, and messaging—and executed major website redesigns recognized as best-in-class in the field for two consecutive years; rebuilt the entire digital infrastructure rapidly during COVID to maintain continuity and community connection.
  • Managed public interpretation and visitor-facing presence of the Freedom Trail site: hired and trained staff, produced historically accurate displays and materials, and collaborated with other Freedom Trail sites on shared initiatives.
  • Planned and executed integrated advertising campaigns across MBTA signage, community newspapers, outdoor banners, direct mail, email, social media, and radio—managing creative, vendors, and timelines across all channels simultaneously.
  • Produced fundraising communications, donor cultivation materials, and fourteen consecutive annual reports; shaped messaging for major giving campaigns and stewarded relationships with long-term financial supporters.
  • Led social media strategy across platforms with a focus on audience growth; designed and managed monthly newsletters and donor-focused email campaigns, monitoring engagement data to inform ongoing content decisions.
  • Produced multimedia content including podcast episodes, photography, short-form video, and high-quality print publications (brochures, booklets, calendars, banners, signage).
  • Managed Google Ads, paid social campaigns, and SEO strategy; monitored analytics and iterated based on performance data.
